A good friend of mine is fond of saying that I have a golden horse shoe up my ass, meaning I’m very lucky. I’m not much of a believer in luck, but I am a believer in Karma. I believe that what goes around comes around. This has been proven time and time again in my life and has taught me very valuable lessons about how to live my life to it’s fullest potential.
I know I’m not perfect. I have my flaws, however I try to be kind, loving, giving and accepting. I would give my last dollar to a friend if I knew they needed it more than I did. I try to be honest and real in all of my dealings with others. I try to avoid confrontation, even if I know that I’m not in the wrong. I try to prevent negativity from entering my world.
These practices have served me well. I may not have alot, but what I have is priceless. I have many friends who love me dearly, and would do anything for me, who accept me for everything that I am – good and bad. They treat me this way because that’s how I treat them.
I always seem to have “enough”. Even when I’m most stressed out about finances, or any other of the many worries which we face in our lives – I always have enough, something always comes through for me to ensure that I don’t go with out. I always have cigarettes, food, greenery – the basics that I need to survive and be happy.
I’ve recently been blessed with a most amazing job – also the result of a friendship I’ve nurtured in spite of problems we’ve had with each other. I’ve met some most amazing people who have thoroughly enriched my life on many different planes. I am blessed every day.
All of these things are a direct result of the way I live my life. I will continue to live the same way – as it seems to be working quite well for me!
Love and Peace to all of my friends and family!
